“Cardiac Prayer” examines the complicated psychology at a liminal moment between the state of extreme despair and fragility and the state of gaining hope and recuperation. It projects the mind’s fixation on an inevitable crisis, its deflection from fear, and its desire for freeing from suffering. Some impressions from medical equipment and Catholicism are materialized through ethereal fabric that portrays this delicate moment.
